How can these remarkable artists keep going for so long? Even in this strange new situation daring Slovenian duo Leja Jurišić and Marko Mandič take the biggest risk of this year’s festival: they have specially rented a house in Ljubljana and hired Zoom cameramen to invite you to join them into a special 6-hour long online dinner and talk! As they cook, eat, and thrive, their intimate sharing will be about the performance Together itself, about art, life, the current situation and anything else that pops up on the menu. At times you can join the conversation live and at any time you can post comments and/or answers that will be answered. Set aside some time to cook, eat, drink, and talk, Together with them. 

The event will be in English, although we will attempt to translate any audience questions in Czech.

In politics an irresolvable question, in the performing arts the ultimate ideal. This electrifying six-hour long performance challenge asks the timeless question: what does it mean to be together?

We dare you to experience one of the most important Slovenian theatre events of the last decade and witness this uncompromising testimony on the tempo of contemporary life. Together is risky, funny, violent, exaggerated yet human, intelligent and bold. Highlighting a situation where so much in our lives has become a performance and our drowning in the constant medialization of everything, its concept proves that “being together” is a high-risk investment that is becoming increasingly difficult to pay.
