Intended for those interested in a full and universally engaging discussion and not just artistic dialogue, this five-day workshop led by Zden Brungot Svíteková focuses on giving and receiving feedback. The key principle is “Upwording,” a technique based on nonviolent communication and grounded sociological, linguistic and behavioural studies. During the workshop, participants will also become acquainted with Rivca Rubin’s method for giving feedback. Discussions will focus on the Saturday Bazaar and the presentation of contemporary work by artists from Central Europe. Participants may further apply these approaches in their personal and professional lives and the workshop is open to participants from any field. It is important to note, however, that workshop participants are obliged to attend all parts of the festival program.
