Studio ALTA and PerformCzech / Arts – Theatrical Institute organize an intensive course for artists and producers from January to March 2023.

How to present the project in an inspiring and creative way? How to be able to connect with the laudience and give them a clear signal that your project is the right choice? How to speak intelligibly, caatch an interest but not lose the spirit of the project?

The aim of the course is to deepen communication and presentation skills, to get familiar with the principles of the PITCH format, to impress and inspire with your project. Acquire new knowledge, technologies, tools and procedures that can be used when actively contacting producers, dramaturgs or promoters.

Pitching is a method that presents a project to the public so that it uses all its potential to inspire, arouse interest and attention. It is used worldwide in the independent and commercial spheres, in cultural and other fields.

Eleven selected projects were offered free joint lessons and workshops, individual consultations and coaching with professional lecturers Valeria Cosi and Laia Montoya from the TINA agency. The format of the Closing presentation allows all promoters to listen to every participants, while offering an environment that respects the vulnerability of the situation it is the first public presentation of the course.

The course is part of the project Cooperation of cultural houses Studio ALTA, Baerum Kulturhus, Black Box Teater and the PerformCzech SKILLS project of the Arts – Theatrical Institute.
