The 2019 Bazaar Festival will open with Grace by the internationally acclaimed Hungarian ensemble Hodworks, performing in Prague for the very first time. Under the guidance of prominent European artistic personality Adrienn Hód, they present a ceremony free of norms, showing their naked and raw personal stories as dance that vibrates with emotion, spontaneity and truth in precisely choreographed situations. The festival closes with Rapture and Rage by German ensemble LIGNA, an interactive project offering the audience an impressive lesson from the history of fascisms and authoritarian regimes. This year’s Bazaar Festival also welcomes the solo performance of Lebanese dancer Khouloud Yassine, Heroes. Two projects by promising young performers developed in part at last year’s festival, return: PLI by Viktor Černinský and Wonderful World by Collective B. The festival once again includes the Saturday Bazaar – a showcase of  new emerging theatre and dance projects. Saturday night will be crowned by the icon of European contemporary dance, performance art and song Ivo Dimchev with his performance I-Cure. Following great responses from last year, the festival brings back a four-day workshop with Bush Hartshorn entitled Giving and Receiving Feedback, open to the general public.
